Dogs make us smile and laugh. They are our friends, our companions, and part of our families — and with unconditional devotion they protect us, forgive us, and stay forever at our sides.
When you can’t be with them, we care for them exactly the way you would — on eight tree-filled acres where they can simply be dogs.
The Boarding
Spacious, fully-walled enclosures with underfloor heating, insulated houses, deep natural shade and their own exercise runs — each one uniquely crafted with personal attention.
Thirteen spacious, fully-walled kennels — some with a view — for larger and more active dogs. Underfloor heating in the cold months, with massive trees shading the whole area in summer.
Ten cosy, fully-walled kennels for smaller or less energetic guests — well-insulated houses, gentle underfloor heating and a separate run designed just for little legs.
Pin Oaks BARF
BARF means Biologically Appropriate Raw Food. Real meat, organ, bone and whole-food extras — with no chemical preservatives, no flavour enhancers, and no synthetic colourants. Just natural nutrition that dogs thrive on.
Our Story
Our founder grew up with dogs at her side, and that love followed her around the world — even caring for dogs while travelling in Scotland and Italy.
Together with her mother, she found an eight-acre, tree-filled smallholding and built kennels they would be genuinely happy to leave their own dogs at.
Searching for something better, her mother researched canine nutrition and settled on the BARF diet by Dr Ian Billinghurst. Their own dogs grew healthier on it.
Guests were fed the same food, many improved in condition, and owners began asking to buy it — which is how Pin Oaks Food came to be.
Open every day of the year, 08h00–17h00. Collection and drop-off by arrangement. We’d love to meet you and your dog.
